Freshwater Residence

Freshwater Residence is a carefully considered family home shaped by its extraordinary coastal setting. With uninterrupted ocean views as a constant backdrop, the design was deeply informed by the surrounding landscape, the movement of the water, the rugged coastal rocks, and the ever-changing light throughout the day.

Rather than leaning into a conventional coastal aesthetic, the interiors were conceived as a refined and contemporary response to place. Natural, tactile materials and sculptural forms were layered to create spaces that feel grounded, calm, and timeless. The architecture and interiors work seamlessly together, allowing the views to remain the hero while the design quietly supports and enhances the experience of the home.

Developed over several years in close collaboration with the clients and project team, Freshwater Residence is a home that balances restraint and warmth — a modern coastal residence that feels elevated, thoughtful, and deeply connected to its environment.
